Briefly describe your best win at Wheelersburg |
|
Tie: Beating Ironton 10-7 in '99. This was my
first varsity game, great way to start. The other would be
beating Minford 21-7 our senior year. Great revenge for the
two losses to them the season before. |

Briefly describe your toughest loss at Wheelersburg |
|
The last two regular season games of my
senior year. We lost at home to West 7-0, and a chance to
tie for the SOC. Then we lost at Portsmouth 21-19. We were
down 21-7 with about 5 min. to go, then we made a great
comeback before a "questionable" call on our 2 pt.
conversion ended our comeback. |

Describe the most memorable event while playing at
Wheelersburg |
|
Senior
night against West, the coaching staff named me an honorary
captain. I'll never forget Coach Watts coming into the
trainer's room and telling me "Tonight's your night, your
our captain." As we walked to mid-field, a message from the
coaches was told over the PA as we walked across the field.
Needless to say, I had a few tears running down my cheek by
the time for the coin toss. |
