Briefly describe your best win at Wheelersburg |
|
1992 Portsmouth at Wheelersburg. It was one of the largest
crowds I have ever seen at Ed Miller Stadium. The game was a
defensive battle with hard-hitting and a lot of trash
talking. I can remember May, J. Hawes and myself singing
"The Brady Bunch" to the Portsmouth offensive lineman and
I'm sure they were wondering "what the hell are these guys
thinking..."

Briefly describe your toughest loss at Wheelersburg |
|
My final game of my senior year at Portsmouth. We were 9-0
and riding high but still needing a win to get in to the
division III playoffs and Portsmouth was 3-6 and had a
terrible year but was actually a very talented team. We
could never really get into a rhythm and Portsmouth took us
out behind the wood shed and handed our assess to us. It was
a tough loss to end my high school career.

Describe the most memorable event while playing at
Wheelersburg |

Bringing #1 Huntington East to Ed Miller Stadium in 1992
and dominating the game from start to finish. I believe the
final score was 49-6.
