Briefly describe your best win at Wheelersburg |
|
Our first game in 1952 when we defeated Notre Dame. This was a thrill because it was my first game as Head Coach. Ed Miller scored the touchdown. Dick Morgan was the QB. We won 6-0. |

Briefly describe your hardest loss at Wheelersburg |

The Waverly game in 1956 or 1957 when we should have won. Waverly was declared SOC Champion. |

Describe the most memorable event while coaching at Wheelersburg |
|
The “Monsoon Game.” This was the nickname we gave to the first game played on the present football field. At kickoff a small cloud burst of rain deluged the playing field and within a short time, the new field was a quagmire of mud. We won on a pass play. |
