Briefly describe your best win at Wheelersburg

when I look back at my career as a Pirate there is one win that stands out above the rest, it is the butt kickin that we put on Ironton at Ed Miller Stadium my senior year. We lost a heart breaker to them my sophomore year at home, and then got our butts spanked twice by them my junior year, once at the tank and the other at Portsmouth Stadium in the 1st round of the playoffs. so the beat down that we gave them in '96 was a long time coming not only on a personal level but from the whole community because it was the 1st win against them in school history.

Briefly describe your toughest loss at Wheelersburg

all of them....I HATE to lose!!! every single time that we lost I felt like we let the whole community down. I remember those horrible saturday mornings after a loss, I did not want to show my face in town for a few days and I definitely wasn't gonna go into McDonalds for breakfast on those saturday mornings!!

Describe the most memorable event while playing at Wheelersburg

I can still feel it now....standing in the locker room waiting to take the field, the cheerleaders cheering, "Bring On The BURG, Bring On The BURG!", The Band forming The Tunnel, the roar of the crowd when we take the field, the Fight Song playing, the Cannon going off as we bust the hoop, the anticipation of the opening kick-off, me puking as the kick-off is in the air coming right to me. The atmosphere of Football Friday Night up on The Hill, playing in front of a great community and many "old" greats that had come before me.  It does not get any better than that.
